Court staff has received information that Sonoma County residents are the targets of a telephone scam in which the caller purports to be a member of law enforcement who threatens the person with a bench warrant for missed jury duty. The scam artist instructs the person to obtain a certain form of cash card payment to clear the alleged bench warrant. Please be advised the Court staff is not making these calls or sending these types of emails.
