CCLS Study Course – The LPI CCLS Online Study Group is a multi-week, online, interactive program designed to help participants prepare for the California Certified Legal Secretary (CCLS) examination with confidence. Each module covers topics relevant to the exam and includes study materials, handouts, assignments, and practical guidance to help participants stay organized and on track. Materials are released weekly and may be completed at your own pace, offering flexibility for busy professionals. Participants may enroll in the full study group or purchase individual modules during the current session. The program is offered twice each year in advance of the CCLS Examination, and live CCLS seminars are also presented at each LPI Quarterly Conference.
Continuing Legal Education – LPI’s Continuing Legal Education programs offer comprehensive training designed to support legal professionals at every stage of their careers — from those new to the legal field to experienced professionals seeking to expand their knowledge and stay current on industry developments. Our live seminars and webinars feature knowledgeable speakers and practical, real-world instruction on a wide range of topics, including civil litigation, probate and estate planning, criminal law, family law, federal law, law office administration, calendaring, ethics, technology, and more. These programs are designed to enhance professional skills, increase efficiency, and provide valuable insight into the ever-evolving legal profession. As an added benefit, all live Continuing Legal Education seminars and webinars are offered FREE to LPI members.
Legal Technology Training – LPI’s Legal Technology Training classes are designed to help attorneys and legal professionals develop and maintain the technical skills necessary to meet California’s evolving competency requirements in today’s technology-driven legal environment. These practical, hands-on programs provide valuable training on the software and tools commonly used in modern law offices, helping participants improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall productivity. Topics include the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel), Adobe Acrobat, Best Authority, Electronically Stored Information (ESI), artificial intelligence (AI) and emerging legal technologies, legal technology best practices, time-saving tips and tricks, and other essential technology skills relevant to the legal profession. Whether you are looking to strengthen your foundational knowledge or enhance your existing skillset, these classes provide practical instruction you can immediately apply in the workplace.
LPI University – Webinars & Seminars – LPI University provides high-quality educational webinars and seminars designed to support the ongoing professional growth of legal professionals. Through practical training, experienced presenters, and timely legal topics, LPI University offers programs that help participants expand their knowledge, strengthen their skills, and stay current with developments in the legal profession.
LPI University – Multi-Week Training Courses – LPI University offers comprehensive multi-week training courses, including programs such as Trial Preparation, Advanced Discovery, Beginning Legal Secretarial Training, Intermediate Legal Professional Training, and more. These structured courses are designed to provide in-depth instruction and practical skill development through textbooks, homework assignments, quizzes, and final examinations. Courses are offered at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels, with some programs conducted live via Zoom and others available through a flexible online, self-paced learning platform. Students who successfully complete the course requirements receive a certificate of completion. LPI University courses are designed to strengthen legal professionals by expanding their understanding of court practices, legal procedures, and practical workplace skills. Due to the fast-paced nature of these programs, participants are encouraged to dedicate approximately 4–5 hours per week outside of class to reading, studying, and completing assignments.
Legal Professionals Incorporated is a California State Bar-approved MCLE provider committed to offering high-quality educational programs for legal professionals. Most LPI seminars, webinars, and training programs qualify for both MCLE and California Certified Legal Secretary (CCLS) continuing education credit.
Webinars on Demand – LPI’s Webinars on Demand library offers more than 80 recorded webinars covering a wide range of legal procedures, continuing education, legal technology, court rules, ethics, calendaring, discovery, trial preparation, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, AI and emerging legal technologies, and other practical law office topics. Our on-demand library is updated monthly with current and relevant educational content designed to help legal professionals learn new skills, strengthen existing knowledge, and stay up to date with developments in the legal profession — all at their own convenience. Webinars on Demand are available for a nominal fee, with select recordings offered free of charge. Group rates are also available for multiple viewers.
