LPI Local Chapter Spotlight: Contra Costa County LPA

HISTORY SPOTLIGHT: CONTRA COSTA COUNTY LEGAL PROFESSIONALS ASSOCIATION (CCCLPA)

Location:         Contra Costa County

Chartered:       Contra Costa County Legal Professionals Association (“CCCLPA”) received its charter from Legal Professionals, Inc. (“LPI®“) in March of 2016.

History:

Like LPI, CCCLPA is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing educational, professional, and personal development programs and networking opportunities, to its membership, which consists of attorneys, legal assistants, paralegals, legal secretaries, legal administrative assistants, court reporters, law office administrators, and anyone in a law-related profession.

Contra Costa County Legal Professionals Association (“CCCLPA”) received its charter in March of 2016 after a group of members from a prior association decided to create a new association to bring in new and unique ways to network as an association and to continue to provide educational benefits to the community and membership at large.

Through a Worldwide Pandemic, the fairly small and relatively new association founded in 2016 maintained a solid membership and continued to provide education and networking support to the legal professionals in our community. Further, Zoom educational programs were conducted regularly by CCCLPA with the assistance of LPI free of charge to those who attended. As we navigated through the Pandemic years, we charged renewing and new members only the LPI Per Capita Fee to promote unity and support to a struggling financial community.

CCCLPA is proud to have gotten through the Pandemic and to have contributed in some small way to the membership and legal community and look forward to continuing our mission in the future.
