Grandparents Day Poem

By Jessica Melton

Sugar and spice,

And everything nice,

That’s what my grandma is.

She combs my hair,

And cooks quite a fare,

And she sings while we play with my toys.

My grandpa is the best.

He is better than all the rest.

We go in his car,

To explore near and far,

While he tells silly jokes to me.

Now grandparent’s day is near.

It’s a time to hold them dear.

Since they loved us so,

From the very get-go,

Let’s honor them on their day.
