District Court Fee Increase
A $50 “Administrative Fee” is now effective (as of May 1, 2013) for filing any civil action, suit or proceeding in the United States District Court (total filing fee now $400).
This fee, however, does not apply to persons granted in forma pauperis status or to applications for writs of habeas corpus.
