Placer Superior: Placer Superior Court Invites Comments on Off-Cycle Update to Local Rules of Court

The Placer County Superior Court (“Court”) invites comments on the proposed off-cycle update to its Local Rules of Court. The amendments impact the Court’s remote appearance policies in evidentiary and non-evidentiary proceedings in Civil, Family Law, Juvenile Justice, and Juvenile Dependency cases. The amendments also reduce the court’s remote appearance fee to $71. This fee will be charged in civil, family, and probate cases that are assessed a filing fee, pursuant to California Rules of Court, Rule 3.672 and Government Code, section 70630.
