Effective April 19, 2018: Juvenile Recovery Court cases will be assigned to Judge Bradley Erdosi in Dept. L44 at the Lamoreaux Justice Center. Recovery Court cases assigned to Judge Gassia Apkarian will be assigned for all purposes to Judge Bradley Erdosi on the effective date.
Unless otherwise indicated, once a case is assigned to a particular judge or commissioner, the assignment is for all purposes. (Superior Court of California, County of Orange Local Rule 900.2)
Pursuant to Code of Civil Procedure section 170.6(a)(2), peremptory challenges are due within 15 days after notice of the case reassignment, or if the party has not yet appeared in the action, then 15 days after the appearance.
