Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a Federal holiday celebrated this year on January 16, 2023. The holiday falls on the third Monday of January in celebration of Martin Luther King Jr’s birthday on January 15, 1929. The holiday was first celebrated on January 20, 1986. Some of his famous quotes:
