The Los Angeles Superior Court Catalina Courthouse, located at 215 Sumner Avenue, Avalon 90704, is in session every other Friday only. Documents can only be filed at the Catalina Courthouse on the alternating Fridays when the courthouse is open.
For the filing of documents that are not time-sensitive, a drop box is available at the Avalon Sheriff’s Station, also located at 215 Sumner Ave. Documents may also be filed at the Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse, located at 275 Magnolia, Long Beach
90802.
The Catalina Courthouse will hear matters on the following dates in 2016, subject to further order of the Court:

April 1, 15 and 29, 2016
May 13 and 27, 2016
June 10 and 24, 2016
July 8 and 22, 2016

November 4 and 18, 2016
December 2, 16 and 30, 2016
