The Central Family Law Division at the Los Angeles Superior Court will implement the following changes to courtroom operations at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse and the Central Civil West Courthouse:
- Effective Jan. 2, 2018, Commissioner Stephen M. Lowry was reassigned to Dept. 2F at the Central Civil West Courthouse, 600 S. Commonweath Ave., Los Angeles, 90005. Commissioner Armando Duron was reassigned to the Compton Courthouse, Dept. M.
- Effective Jan. 18, 2018, Judge Joshua Wayser is reassigned to Dept. 27 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, 111 N. Hill St., Los Angeles, 90012. Judge Richard Burdge is reassigned to the Alhambra Courthouse, Dept. 3.
Counsel and parties are instructed to identify the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents filed with the clerk, beneath the case number, to ensure proper departmental assignment, calendaring of hearings, and the distribution of documents.
