The Central Probate Division at the Los Angeles Superior Court will implement the following changes to courtroom operations at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, 111 N. Hill St., Los Angeles, 90012:
- Effective January 22, 2018, Judge Daniel Juarez is reassigned to Department 67.
- Effective January 29, 2018, Judge Robert Wada is reassigned from Department 424 at the Edmund D. Edelman Children’s Courthouse to the Central Probate Division at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse, Room 243C. Judge Wada will provide coverage for probate judicial officers as required, as well as conduct settlement conferences.
- Effective January 31, 2018, Judge Barbara R. Johnson is reassigned from Department 57 to Department 11.
- Effective January 31, 2018, Judge Elizabeth Lippitt is reassigned from Department W at the Van Nuys East Courthouse to Department 57 at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
Counsel and parties are instructed to indicate the assigned judicial officer and department on the first page of all documents submitted for filing to ensure proper departmental assignment, calendaring of hearings and document routing.
