Registration is open, the countdown is on, and Legal Professionals Incorporated’s 92nd Annual Educational Conference is shaping up to be the most unforgettable one yet. Hosted by Sacramento Legal Professionals Association, join us May 14–17, 2026, at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West in Sacramento, California — and get ready to celebrate in style.
This year’s theme, “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” runs through every corner of the weekend — from the education to the events to what you wear. Speaking of which: holiday costumes and festive attire are encouraged throughout the conference (not required, but highly encouraged!). Two events have their own dress codes — holiday pajamas for the Friday Night Social, and full glitz, glam, and holiday sparkle for the Saturday Banquet.
Here’s a taste of what’s in store:
Friday kicks off with a Parliamentarian Workshop (9:00–11:00 AM) presented by Tami Dunning, Professional Registered Parliamentarian — Local Association Governors are strongly encouraged to attend. The afternoon brings the “Snowman’s Deli Delight” Roundtable Luncheon, and Friday night is all about “Reindeer Games” — our optional game night social ($33/person) complete with team and individual competitions and a loaded mashed potato bar. Yes, really.
Saturday honors our newest California Certified Legal Secretaries at the “Snow Angels” CCLS Luncheon, then caps the night with “A Starlit Holiday: Honoring the Stars of LPI” — our awards banquet where the stars (that’s you!) get their moment in the spotlight. Sunday closes the weekend beautifully with the “Winter Wonderland” Installation Brunch.
Don’t miss the Legacy Project Display Room, open Friday and Saturday, featuring items from across our history plus a Vintage Work Attire Contest (1930s–1980s) with era and overall winners announced at Saturday’s banquet. And this year, the Legacy Project is collecting memorabilia for a time capsule to be opened at LPI’s 100th Annual Conference in 2034 — bring something to contribute!
Six educational seminars are available in-person and via Zoom, and the exhibitor gallery, raffle, and silent auction round out a packed weekend. Guests are welcome at all meal events for an additional per-person fee. The hotel group rate is $185.51 all-inclusive with $4/day parking, available three days before and after the conference.
