Thanks, Rod – re Daily Journal – so do I! I’ve known Doris since forever and she remembered me when I called recently.

FYI – I put “Daily Journal” on my Petition for Probate filed in Santa Barbara. They kicked it back and wanted the specific newspaper that the Daily Journal was going to choose. So I had to call Doris, find out what they would recommend, amend the petition, and refile.

It was annoying, because I have never encountered that before, and I wanted this filing to go through perfectly, because it was the first one I was filing for my new attorney and I wanted to show her I knew what I was doing. So much for that.

Another FYI – they require an ‘unfiled’ Notice of Administration when you are filing the POS. I cannot tell you the number of POS I have filed where the clerk stamped the second page with the file stamp. Oh well – it’s all filed now!
