Appellate Procedures in California and The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals Course Commencing October 10, 2023

October 10, 2023 - December 5, 2023

This is an eight-week, work-at-your-own pace, online course that will cover appellate procedures within the California Courts of Appeal and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Classes will take place online utilizing modules, video lectures, quizzes and a final exam. Handouts and a Reference Guide will be provided. Login information will be provided the day before the class is scheduled to begin.

- Reporter's Transcript
- Clerk's Transcript
- Preparing the Opening
- Brief and Appendix
- Formatting the Brief and Appendix
- Efiling/Truefiling
Cost:
- $400 LPI members
- $500 non-LPI members
(includes local association membership, subject to approval)

Each individual must register separately. Upon completion of the course, students will receive a certificate from LPI.
