LOCAL CONTEST: CALIFORNIA SOUTHERN
The U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California is hosting a local contest with winners moving on to the Ninth Circuit competition. To be eligible to compete in the local contest, students must reside in Imperial or San Diego county.
The United States District Court for the Southern District of California will recognize the winners of the local contest at an award luncheon to be held on May 24, 2016.

LOCAL CONTEST: CENTRAL CALIFORNIA
The U.S. District and Bankruptcy Courts for the Central District of California are hosting a local contest with winners moving on to the Ninth Circuit competition. District winners will receive prizes of $1,000 for first place, $750 for second place, and $500 for third place. To be eligible to compete in the local contest, students must reside in one of these counties:
