SONOMA – ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING CHANGES TO CALENDARING PROBATE MATTERS

The court will be changing the process for obtaining hearing dates. The updated process will be reflected in the local rules on the next cycle for January, 2017. In the meantime, in conservatorship matters and guardianships of the estate, petitioners will continue to comply with Local Rule 6.4 regarding contacting the Office of the Probate Court Investigator to obtain a hearing date. In all other matters, petitioners will be assigned a hearing date from the probate clerk at the time of filing. Parties may obtain information regarding the next available hearing date by calling the probate clerk at (707) 521-6650, Monday through Friday, Between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.
