Family Justice Center Courthouse Gets Greenlight for Move-In Date After years of development and planning, the new Family Justice Center Courthouse to open this summer.
SAN JOSE, Calif. (February 5, 2016): The Superior Court of California, County of Santa Clara is pleased to announce that July 30th is the official move-in date for the new Family Justice Center Courthouse, with the Grand Opening Ceremony slated for August 1st .
“We are incredibly excited that our years of patience, planning and development will soon come to fruition. The Court could not have finally reached this incredible day without the hard work and dedication of our community supporters, staff, judicial leadership, ZGF Architects and Hensel Phelps, our building’s managing contractor,” said Hon. Risë Jones Pichon, Presiding Judge. “This new facility will certainly help us better serve the needs of our community and improve outcomes for those who come before the Court.”
While the new move into the building is slated for July 30th, subsequent moves from the Park Center Plaza, Sunnyvale, Notre Dame and Terraine courthouses will continue throughout the month of August. In the coming weeks, the Court will provide further information regarding the scheduling of hearings and calendars during the relocation period
