The U.S. Senate today voted 51-45 to confirm presidential nominee Sacramento Superior Court Judge Daniel J. Calabretta to serve as a U.S. district judge for the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California. “The Sacramento Superior Court bench extends its congratulations to Judge Calabretta on his appointment and we look forward to following his work during this next chapter of his judicial career,” Presiding Court Judge Michael G. Bowman said.
