On March 3, 2023, the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) issued updated guidance in response to the easing of the COVID-19 pandemic, which includes new and less restrictive isolation recommendations for those who test positive for COVID-19, as well as April 3, 2023, effective date on the lifting of masking requirements in certain settings that were deemed high-risk for the spread of COVID-19.
