Webinar – Legal Research Best Practices: Using ChatGPT and AI in Legal Practice what you need to know before your filing goes out the door – October 20, 2026

October 20, 2026 – 12:00-1:00PM

Presented by: Bethany S. Ensz, M.S.

Artificial intelligence is rapidly transforming the legal profession, but with convenience comes responsibility. This practical and engaging class explores how legal professionals can effectively and ethically use AI tools like ChatGPT to support legal research, drafting, citation review, and workflow efficiency—without compromising accuracy or professional standards. Participants will learn best practices for verifying AI-generated content, identifying hallucinated cases and citations, protecting confidentiality, and maintaining compliance with court rules and ethical obligations. Through real-world examples and practical tips, this course provides the knowledge legal teams need to confidently use AI while ensuring every filing is accurate, credible, and ready before it goes out the door.
