PLACER – TO IMPLEMENT NEW CIVIL CASE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

The Placer Superior Court is implementing a new case management system on Monday, August 28, 2017 for limited and unlimited civil, probate, unlawful detainer, and small claims cases. The new system supports the court’s effort to increase access to digital case records and prepare for the future implementation of electronic filing. All documents in the aforementioned case categories that are filed on or after August 28, 2017 will be digitized and stored in the digital case file. The court anticipates launching public and party access to digitized documents in the Fall of 2017. A date for the implementation of electronic filing has not been set.

The court requests your patience and understanding when filing documents in person at the clerk’s office or when seeking information via telephone as staff becomes familiar with the new system.
