The Los Angeles Superior Court Catalina Courthouse, located at 215 Sumner Ave., Avalon 90704, is in session every other Friday as outlined below. Documents can be filed at the Clerk’s Office at the Catalina Courthouse on alternating Fridays when the courthouse is open.
To file documents that are not time-sensitive, a drop box is available at the Avalon Sheriff’s Station, also located at 215 Sumner Ave. These documents will be processed on the next day the courthouse is open.
Alternatively, documents may be filed at the Governor George Deukmejian Courthouse, located at 275 Magnolia, Long Beach 90802, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The Catalina Courthouse will hear matters on the following dates in 2018, subject to further order of the court:

February 9 and 23, 2018
March 9 and 23, 2018
April 6 and 20, 2018
May 4 and 18, 2018
June 1, 15 and 29, 2018
July 13 and 27, 2018
August 10 and 24, 2018
September 7 and 21, 2018
October 5 and 19, 2018
November 2, 16 and 30, 2018
December 14 and 28, 2018
