Effective July 1, 2019, self-represented parents in Family Law cases will have access to a tool that allows parents to negotiate a Parenting Plan Agreement for their children without traveling to the Court. Upon filing a Request for Order regarding custody or parenting time, the Petitioner may opt to participate in the online Parenting Plan tool. Parents will not be required to attend their mediation if the Parenting Plan Agreement resolves all issues and is filed with the Court before the scheduled mediation appointment.
To participate, the Court requires the email address information for both parents. This information can be provided to the Court when filing the Request for Order. This tool is available for cases where there is no attorney representation for either party. The fee is $25 for each party.
