Hanukkah Festival Celebration

Those celebrating Hanukkah will do so starting at sunset on December 18 and ending at nightfall on December 26. This tradition of lighting the menorah candles is a pivotal moment in Jewish history. San Rafael –San Rafael Plaza, 1000 Fourth Street between 5 and 7 pm. The City of San Rafael and Chabad of Marin will celebrate with music, dancing, hot chocolate, and a chocolate gelt drop by the San Rafael Fire Department and Menorah Lightning free to those in the community. https://downtownsanrafael.org/menorah-lighting/

Petaluma – Sonoma Marin Fairgrounds, 175 Fairgrounds Drive between 4:30-6:00 pm. Chabad of Petaluma will celebrate with fire juggling, latkes, jelly doughnuts, DJ, crafts, face painting, drone gelt drop, and more. Culver City  – The Culver Steps, 9300 Culver Blvd at 4:30 pm. Jewish Community of Culver City will celebrate with a Grand Menorah Lighting, a special magic show, live music, hot latkes, donuts, a caricature artist, a dreidel man, arts and crafts, free raffle, and a free gift for each child.
