Temporary Changes to the Court Operations
The Superior Court of Alameda County (Court) announced today that it is enacting temporary changes to some of its telephone, dropbox, and clerk’s office hours, effective Monday, January 10, 2022. Specifically, for the clerk’s offices listed below, the new telephone hours will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., drop boxes will be available from 8:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., and the clerk’s offices will be open for in-person service from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
These temporary changes will allow the Court to mitigate the ongoing surge in COVID cases brought about as a result of the rapid spread of the Omicron variant. The Court will continue to monitor the situation and make additional changes as circumstances warrant.
